Amy the Wire Dachshund was given to us in 1985 by some good friends that thought we should start showing something "easier"...I never did quite figure out how wire coats were EASY, and getting majors on a breed where you never see more than one or two at a show was no fun, either!! Still, Amy raised many Afghan Hound litters and was a great friend to us for over 14 years.
