Nickers came to us by a stroke of pure luck! I owe a BIG THANK YOU to her breeders, Kirlyn Fouts, Deb Baker, Irva McDougald and Mary Pyle for being so helpful with this transition!  Shortly after arriving, I took her to her first shows and even though I am NOT a great Dachshund handler YET, she managed to pick up a Reserve and a BOW for her first point.

Nickers finished her Championship at the same show where she got her first point a year earlier!  We certainly had a lot of fun along the way and learned a lot too!  A big THANKS to Kirlyn Fouts, her co-breeder for handling her to her first 5 pt major in Rapid City when I couldn't go!
